Hey, my name is Emmett Culp. I'm completing my BFA in Industrial Design with a minor in Sneaker Design at Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). I will graduate in 2026.
Prior to pursuing a career in design, I raced bicycles at a professional level in road and track cycling over the course of twelve years. The sport of cycling is incredibly difficult and one many lessons I took away from it was to find the little victories in every challenge, especially when the outcome is unexpected.
As an athlete, I understand the importance of user-centered design, not just in sporting goods, but in all product design. My dream is to design functional, yet elegant, products with purpose.
Outside of design, I still going for a bike ride or a run, making food, drinking good coffee, and exploring new places.
